English Medium School

We are still raising money to build a school for children between the ages of 5 and 13. The £100,000 will be used towards acquiring land, construction, furnishing, computers, teaching materials, uniforms and facilitating the ongoing running costs for a further two years. All donations will be greatly appreciated to support this project.

Constructing Houses

The charity has raised funds for the construction of 25 houses in a deprived village called Vasantpura in Varoda which is in the region of Gujarat. Each home comprises of 1 bedroom, a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, access to running water and electricity.

Sanitation System

We have already constructed 7 toilets in Kalidasa Village, Uttarakhand. At the moment the villagers have no option but to go out into the open fields in the middle of night. We want to provide privacy for women and children and remove the fear of being stalked by animals or having to watch out for snakes. We are also providing hygiene and sanitation education. This is an ongoing project and we plan to do the same in other parts of the region.

Food Supplies

The charity regularly provides food supplies to the needy. We arranged food supplies to feed over 500 underprivileged children in Rajkot, Gujarat last year. We provided 1kg of rice and 1kg of moong daal (lentils) to 250 families in the same village and donated Rs.20,654 for another month’s supply of rations. We also donate a months supply of rice, lentils, oil, flour, sugar and tea to 52 families suffering from leprosy every six months.

Access Road to Dhanaulti Village

At present, access to the village is only by walking downhill for 2.5km on a rough unsafe terrain. The road is full of rubble and you have to watch your every step to avoid slipping and falling. We are looking to help build a safer road in order to provide easier and quicker access to facilities.

Eye Camp

The charity supported the running of eye camps in Dhrangadhra where over 800 elderly people were provided with free eye health care checks, eye operations and medication.

Cattle Welfare

The charity has donated to shelters which look after poorly and abandoned cattle. The charity is raising money to build a shelter for 6 cows in order to provide them with a warm environment in the winter. Temperatures fall below freezing in Dhanaulti which has caused a lot of cows to become poorly.
